thought leadership

Our founding partner and chairman, Bruce Stachenfeld, also known as The Real Estate Philosopher, has become a thought leader in the real estate industry.

As one of the leading law firms focused on the real estate industry, we pride ourselves on being thought leaders and strive to provide thoughtful commentary on new trends and developments facing the industry today.

D&S is committed to being thought leaders throughout all areas of the capital stack in the real estate industry.  Our partners regularly speak and write on timely topics affecting the industry ranging from Jessica Millett on Opportunity Zones to Tom O’Connor on C-PACE to YuhTyng Patka on the Climate Mobilization Act.  If something is impacting the real estate industry, then we have a team of attorneys that have thought through the issues and figured out the best way to protect our clients or how to best seize the opportunity to achieve our clients’ goals.

Additionally, our Chairman and co-founder, Bruce Stachenfeld, is also known as:

The Real Estate Philosopher®

Most excitingly, Bruce’s articles, including his recipes for success in the real estate industry, will be published in a book entitled: The Real Estate Philosopher’s® Guide: The Secrets to Real Estate Success.
