Our Corporate Practice Group, which is led by Patrick Duval, represents clients in a broad spectrum of transactions including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions of privately held and publicly traded businesses, private equity investments, joint ventures, restructurings and recapitalizations, secured and unsecured debt financings and other corporate and commercial transactions. We also have extensive experience advising our clients in connection with day-to-day legal issues that arise in their businesses. In fact, for many of our clients, we serve as outside general counsel, and those clients rely on us to advise them with respect to all of their legal needs, coordinating with their other advisors and frequently calling upon the expertise of the attorneys in our other practice groups.  The Firm’s corporate clients include publicly traded companies, hedge funds, venture capital funds, commercial banks and other financial institutions, as well as middle market and early-stage companies in a wide range of industries, including those in the manufacturing, technology, e-commerce, entertainment and service sectors. We plan to continue our strategy of building a diversified corporate practice that includes both established institutions as well as exciting new up-and-coming businesses.
